In 1960, Marvel Comics editor Stan Lee, who wanted to create a new hero because superhero comics were selling too much, wants to create a young superhero to take advantage of readers being mostly teenagers. With the help of Steve Ditko and partly Jack Kirby, they decide the name Spider-Man, inspired by old but unused characters. Spider-Man is very popular on the last pages of an ordinary magazine, so 2 years later, he buys Marvel Spider-Man's patent.

Originally released in 2002, Tobey Maguire played the characters of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, the film "Spider-Man" is the first successful test film of Spider-Man.

The sequel to the series was in 2004 with "Spider-Man 2". Again, Tobey Maguire plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man characters. Most movie lovers say Spider-Man's best movie is "Spider-Man 2."

The series ended in 2007 with "Spider-Man 3". So Marvel Comics launched one of the best series in the world of cinema.

Marvel Comics launched a new series of Spider-Man series with the film "The Amazing Spider-Man", which was released in 2012 after this series. A brand new Spider-Man was seen in the film, starring Andrew Garfield.

The film "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", which was released in 2014 after film 1, was not the first series, so this film ended in the series.

Following these series, a whole new series of Spider-Man has been launched. Marvel Studios, who has so far made "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "Spider-Man: Far From Home", is currently shooting "Spider-Man: No Way Home".
